Goal

Ship optional, one-click content bundles — regional and cultural event sets with matching built-in schemes (e.g. "Nordic," "Hindu festivals," "US sports seasons," "Pride & awareness days").

Why it's valuable

The bundled set is a sensible default, but users' relevant holidays vary widely by culture and interest. Packs let people opt into rich, curated coverage without editing YAML by hand.

Sketch

  • A pack = a bundle of event definitions + built-in schemes, in the existing YAML formats.
  • Installer merges a pack's events/schemes with source marking so they behave like builtin content (user rows still shadow them).
  • UI: a "content packs" page listing available packs with install/uninstall.
  • Ship a few first-party packs; document the pack format for community authoring.

Acceptance criteria

  • Packs install/uninstall cleanly and merge with existing resolution rules
  • At least two first-party packs shipped
  • Documented pack format
  • Tests: installed pack events/schemes resolve

Proposed enhancement (brainstorm follow-up).
