Follow-up to #556, from building phase 1: the spec's §2 code block is replaced by the adapter contract as merged (ruff-formatted; CI enforces the formatter, and a verbatim copy of the unformatted block fails the gate, which three lanes hit), PackMeta.licence becomes optional, and a "conventions settled during the build" section records the registry pattern, the warnings channel, the sanitiser call, the four Foundry publication paths, system.json creates-never-updates, assets recorded but not stored in phase 1, search visibility for GMs without a campaign, and lenient manifest reading.
