Deferring for now — this bumps the runtime to Python 3.14, which is ahead of what the pinned dependency stack supports. The last CI run (Jun 29) got past install into the build/test phase (~5m34s) before failing, consistent with native/C-extension deps (asyncpg, Pillow, matrix-nio, cryptography) not yet shipping 3.14 wheels or not supporting 3.14 at these pins.

Recommended sequencing:

Land the dependency refresh first (#31, once its test failure is fixed) so the stack is on 3.14-capable versions.
Then either retarget this to Python 3.13 (a safer, well-supported intermediate) or re-test 3.14 once every native dep has 3.14 wheels.

Leaving open as a tracked "blocked" item rather than merging. Happy to close it if you'd rather wait for the ecosystem and let Renovate re-raise later.
