Target release: v1.0.1

Reduce pytest warning noise, especially pytest_asyncio deprecation warnings on Python 3.14+.

Why now: prerequisite for cleanly adopting the Renovate pytest 9 and Python 3.14 major bumps.

Source: SECURITY_AUDIT_REMEDIATION_PLAN.md → "Remaining non-blocking follow-up".
