Progress digests and album completion indicators #118

Severity: MEDIUM

The idea

A weekly digest — in-app and through #27's notification channel: photos decided this week and by
whom, albums nearing completion, disputes waiting, projected completion date, AI cost so far. Plus
album-level progress bars in the UI.

Why it matters

This is a months-long volunteer project done in evenings. The failure mode is not bad software; it
is abandonment. Visible momentum ("Red Album is 82% done") and a gentle weekly pull are the
cheapest retention mechanisms available, and for a family they double as a shared ritual.

Scope

  • Aggregations over existing projections, plus one scheduled worker job emitting the digest.
  • Album progress as decided/total in the album view.
  • Projected completion from recent throughput.

Important caution

Frame this as progress, not competition. Comparing family members' review counts
competitively would poison exactly the collaboration it is meant to nurture. No leaderboards.

Done when

  • A weekly digest is generated and delivered
  • Album progress is visible in the UI
  • A projected completion date is shown
  • Nothing in the framing invites competition between reviewers

Depends on: #27, #18.
