Tuned renovate.json on this branch (62ee4c6) before activation so merging doesn't open the default 53 PRs at once.

What the config does

  • Groups updates: all non-major npm → one PR, all @radix-ui/* → one PR, the ESLint toolchain → one PR.
  • Gates major upgrades (React 19, Tailwind 4, ESLint 10, TypeScript 6, Vite 8, Node 24/26, Python 3.14, …) behind dependency-dashboard approval — nothing major opens until you tick it.
  • Weekly schedule (before 6am on monday) + lockFileMaintenance.
  • Auto-merges CI action minor/patch/digest bumps once checks pass.

Renovate will refresh this PR's preview on its next run; the "53 PRs" list should collapse to a handful plus a dependency-dashboard issue.

Suggested merge order

  1. Merge #19 first (moves CI to .forgejo/workflows/ and deletes .github/workflows/*). Renovate's github-actions manager covers .forgejo/workflows by default, so it'll track the new files automatically.
  2. Then merge this PR to activate.

One thing to verify once live: backend/pyproject.toml was detected as poetry, but it's PEP 621 + uv.
