v4.6.0 - Release Readiness: Review, Simplification & Documentation
The gate before Quest Board is put in front of anyone else. v4.x is the minimum work to make the product safe for other people to run; this milestone is the pass that confirms it actually is. Adversarial review from as many angles as possible - correctness, security, standards, operations - plus a deliberate push to simplify and tighten the code, comment it so a stranger can follow it, document every feature and how to use it, and VALIDATE that each feature behaves the way the documentation claims. Documentation that has not been checked against behaviour is a liability, not an asset: this project has repeatedly found docstrings and comments that described what the code used to do. Nothing here ships new capability. The deliverable is confidence.
